Untold Melbourne

This ambitious initiative has been launched by the Caydon Property Group and is inspired by the concept of transformation, realised potential and extraordinary creativity. Themes that not only underpin the work done by The Reach Foundation with young people across Australia, but also celebrate the unique heritage, fabric and legacy of one of Melbourne’s most dynamic locations – The Malt District. Over 9 days, 25 artists will create a series of unique installations that will transform the space – currently a blank canvas – into an art experience with a difference, which will then be opened up to the paying public. In addition, each artist will create a unique piece to be auctioned, and a series of prints of the work which will be available for sale. Using art as a universal expression of our common humanity, the experience is designed to bring together artists, supporters and communities alike, to create something truly powerful and remarkable.

Untold will be Melbourne’s most exciting contemporary urban art installation. This innovative exhibition has been designed with the unique fundraising goal of generating $1 million for the Reach Foundation. Telling stories of people, place, culture and history, it is set at the iconic riverside Malt District development in Cremorne.

The show will feature 25 of the leading street and contemporary artists from Australia, USA, UK, France and The Netherlands. Each of the artists will create an immersive new installation in the space over the course of two weeks, opening up the doors to the public for 9 days from the 21st April. Accompanying the exhibition will be a complete set of 25 specially commissioned prints by the artists available for public purchase from the on-site gift shop.
